Tooth Preparation

We prepare the tooth cavity into an optimal shape for the ceramic filling using special instruments. It is important that the edges are clean and smooth.

Optical Impression (Scanning)

Instead of a traditional impression, we use a modern intraoral scanner that creates an accurate 3D digital model of the prepared tooth and surrounding tissues in seconds.

Temporary Filling

We place a temporary filling on the tooth to protect it until your next visit.

Design and Production in the Laboratory

We send the digital model to the dental laboratory (or the design is performed in the practice using CAD/CAM), where a technician designs and manufactures your ceramic filling precisely to measure. The ideal shade of ceramic is selected to perfectly match the color of your teeth.

Removal of Temporary Filling

We carefully remove the temporary filling and check the prepared tooth.

Try-in and Adjustment

We first try-in the ceramic filling to check its precise fit, bite and contact with adjacent teeth. We make any necessary adjustments if needed.

Cementace

Once the filling is perfect, we permanently bond it to the tooth with special adhesive cement. Modern cements ensure maximum strength and prevent bacterial leakage.

Polishing and Final Adjustments

After the cement has hardened, the filling is carefully polished to be smooth and comfortable.
